The Long And Winding Road Guitar Lesson – The Beatles

FavoriteLoadingBookmark this Lesson.

In this The Long and Winding Road guitar lesson video, I will show you how to play all of the chords to this classic ballad by The Beatles off of their Let it Be album on acoustic guitar.

The tuning is Eb tuning. That is, starting from the 6th string, Eb Ab Db Gb Bb Eb.

There are basically two chord progressions that cover the entire song.

I have have transcribed the piano and orchestra chords for a single acoustic guitar. Tuning down one half-step makes it quite a bit easier to play on the guitar. Overall, the chords work very well on the guitar and sound great.

The are quite a few barre chords, so hopefully you have gotten those under your belt. If not, perhaps playing "The Long And Winding Road" will be a great way to practice them? 🙂

Have fun!
