Waiting On The World To Change Guitar Lesson Videos – John Mayer

In these Waiting On The World To Change guitar lesson videos you will learn every note of John Mayer's hit.

It was the first single release on Mayer's 2006 album Continuum. Mayer won the Grammy for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for this song at the 49th Grammy Awards.

John Mayer is a player that is very frequently requested here at guitarlessons365.com and I have to say that there are some very nice Hendrix inspired parts to this song.

These Waiting On The World To Change guitar lesson videos are pretty straight forward so they can be practiced by virtually any level of player.

The most challenging aspect may be the use of thumb chords throughout the song, but even if you have no experience with that I think you will find it quite natural after a small amount of practice. Have Fun!!

Love what you do. I have one suggestion. When you play the complete song perhaps have the chord names you are playing scroll across the bottom of the video.

    Hi Carl,

Firstly thanks for another great lesson. I’m still a relatively new member but LOVING your site! Just wish I had more time to play everyday.

If I could please make a song request it would be John Mayers cover of Ain’t No Sunshine. Not sure if there’s a recorded version but I’ve seen a few live videos on YouTube. Here’s a link if you want to check it out: http://youtu.be/3ZyxyehN_Qk

Thanks again man! And keep up the amazing work!

Such a fun song to play. Any chance you could do Mayer’s “Why Georgia”?

Hi Carl, I’m really appreciating this website. Could you perhaps do Neon by John Mayer?
    Many Thanks!
