Open Position Chords Pt.3 C Major, G Major and D Minor

This lesson is the last in our series of basic open position chords. Remember, that a massive majority of popular music uses these chords almost 70% of the time, so it is essential that you become VERY familiar with them.

Don't forget to arch your fingers correctly and place your thumb on top of the neck in order to produce the proper alignment for the fingers to perform these chords.

You aim, is too almost have your fingers pointing towards your face while you are sitting down and practicing.

The next lesson starts to cover how to change from one chord to another in rhythm, so it is essential that you have a good handle on these chords before moving on. Make sure they are at least memorized.

Don't worry if they don't sound perfect yet, that only comes with time.

Here is the PDF download of all of the open position chords if you don't have it yet.
