In this video guitar lesson I am going to show you all the chords and rhythms to the Zac Brown Band's funky "Loving You Easy".
There are some nice challenges in this song with it's right hand rhythms and chords voicings that are played in a pretty high register on the guitar.
However, any practice you put into this lesson will be well rewarded with some new chords forms and better rhythm skills.
The song starts out with the verse chords. As I stated before, these are basic triads but are played in a high register on the guitar which can pose a challenge to some guitarists. Take your time with the chord shapes and learn them first without the rhythm. Then I suggest you isolate the strumming as well until you can do that easily. After that, you can combine the two into one cohesive part.
As for the chorus, we have two different versions. The first and second chorus' you will hear are in C# Major. The chorus that occurs at the end of the song is in D Major. For the most part, they use the exact same chords albeit one fret higher in the D major chorus. However, the ending of the D major chorus is a little bit extended and will introduce more chord shapes as well.
The rhythms stay relatively consistent throughout the whole song so after a little practice in the beginning you should be fine for the rest of the song.
Hope you guys enjoy learning this hit from the Zac Brown Band!
