Trouble Guitar Lesson – Coldplay

In this guitar lesson video I will show you how to play the melancholic hit ballad "Trouble"  on the guitar.

Not only am I going to show you all the standard guitar chords used throughout the various sections of the song, but I will also transcribe the piano intro for the guitar as well.

Believe it or not, this piano part works quite well on the guitar and isn't too overly difficult to play either. However, if you just can't get this piano part under your fingers on the guitar, I will also show you the simple chords that the piano is implying so you can play those instead.

When we get to the verse will have mostly simple chords to deal with. There are a couple of bar chords but if you can play those with ease you won't have much trouble with any part of the song.

For the chorus you will basically just be rotating back and forth between an A major and E minor chord. Pretty simple stuff yet still very effective musically.

Make sure you don't forget to learn the chord progression towards the end of the lesson. It occurs only once in the song so it can be easy to miss.

So have fun playing some nice piano parts on the guitar. It can make for a very musically rewarding experience after you have mastered it. 🙂
