We Can Work It Out Guitar Lesson – The Beatles
In this We Can Work It Out guitar lesson video, I will show you all of the acoustic guitar chords for this classic by The Beatles.
Written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon, "We Can Work It Out" was recorded during the Rubber Soul sessions, and became an international No. 1 hit for The Beatles.
You will need to make sure you guitar is tuned to standard tuning in order to follow along with this lesson and the original recording.
There are only a few chord progressions you will need to play. For the verse and chorus sections, you will only need to play simple open position chords.
For the bridge section, the key switches to B minor and there are a lot of bar chords to play along with some different right hand rhythms. These rhythms include a very tight muted rhythm section followed by a waltz feel section that requires some decently accurate picking ability.
I will break down all of the chords and picking patterns in-depth so hopefully nothing will be very challenging in the end.
