Your Love Guitar Lesson – The Outfield

In this video guitar lesson I am going to show you guys how to play one of my favorite songs from the 80's, "Your Love" by The Outfield.

This song was a huge hit in 1986 here in the U.S., and is still heard quite often to this day. In this Your Love guitar lesson video, I will show you note-for-note how to play this classic from The Outfield in just minutes.

Luckily, you will find learning this song to be a pretty easy thing to do. They use basic power chord shapes throughout the entire song while adding a couple of open strings for a cool Alex Lifeson effect in the chorus. Because of this, I think pretty much any level of guitarist can confidently attempt to learn "Your Love".

There are also a couple of solos thrown in there as well. These solos are also very basic and shouldn't require much time to learn. In this song they use the simplest of tools to create an extremely musical statement. Most of the time, those are the best songs out there.

If you have never heard this song I think you should look it up and give it a listen. It is an incredibly well made song by a very underrated band.
